To be honest, I have very little regard for this Murugiah guy, a Datuk and a Deputy Minister in the PM’s department. This guy was with PPP for 16 years and when he could not topple Kayveas, he was sacked.
He had 200,000 supporters, to join MIC, but till date no news is forthcoming. Does he not remind us of Ibrahim Ali and perkasa, another low-down politician trying his luck. Now that Ibrahim Ali has opened his membership to non-Malays, I would not show surprise if Murugiah is there to taste some crumbs.
Anyhow, my blog today is not on Murugiah’s jumping around, but on the statement he made of the Datuk Sosilawati Lawiya murder case. This chap must be a shit politician, going to the house of the bereaved, and claiming that the alleged murderer wanted to join MIC. Has he not any decency, the family is grieving, and to add to the injury, he is trying to gain political mileage. I won’t be surprised, if this fellow would talk about his politics at his parents funeral. Such a cad. This crude fellow has no respect for dead people and the family. What a shame.
The Police is investigating the murder. Who is this goat already deciding the outcome, but then he is Murugiah from the PM’s elite, and can predict what comes next.
One relevant thought is Samy: you don’t have to resign, Muru, will ensure your retirement. Ha,ha. The Indians tried, but Muru did it.
I did not know every new member of MIC must be vetoed by Sami, maybe that is the reason why new members don’t want to join. Anyhow that is Sami’s headache.
I did not know, here again, that Muru can decide whether one becomes a MIC member or not, he has turned down the alleged murder victim – Samy please be careful.
The next best advice to Samy, get Muru a decent car, he is so helpless without his transport, possibly on that fateful day, he would have been taken to the farm, and anything can go wrong.

GOMBAK: Deputy Minister in Prime Minister’s Department, Datuk T. Murugiah, today revealed that the Datuk lawyer — suspected of being involved in the horrific quadruple deaths of cosmetic millionaire and her associates — had only last week expressed interest in joining the MIC.
The former Youth leader of the People’s Progressive Party — who was accepted as an MIC member just weeks ago — said the suspect had expressed his intentions when the two were having dinner during a ceremony at the Bukit Ceding Orang Asli village in Banting on Wednesday, Sept 8.
"I met him then for the first time and sat next to him for dinner. He had a polite and gentle personality, and asked me if he could join the MIC.
"I told him: ‘Why not?’ I also said he would have to ask MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu first," Murugiah told reporters, after offering his condolences to family members at the home of cosmetic millionaire Datuk Sosilawati Lawiya this evening.
"But, this incident changes everything and we no longer welcome him to the party even if he is indeed innocent."
Sosilawati and three of her associates were believed to have been bludgeoned to death, their bodies burned and the ashes scattered at a river after their disappearance on Aug 30.
Murugiah, while condemning the murderous acts, called for the police to conduct a thorough investigation and leave no stones unturned. "I hope the police will not give these cruel murderers even an ‘inch’ to escape.
"The authorities should also conduct a massive crackdown on gangsterism to ensure innocent lives aren’t lost in vain like this."
He said Sosilawati’s death is a great loss to the nation, and many will remember her for her generosity. "I will visit the families of the other three victims, perhaps tomorrow. These visits are done of my own goodwill."
Relating his experience with the suspect, Murugiah recalls being invited to sit with him in the suspect’s car the night they met. "Thankfully, I declined to join him for a ride," he joked.
