This comes from the horse‚Äôs mouth, you may lead the party but if you do not command the respect of the electorates and fail to win a seat then you are of no use. Najib spoke thus in his speech to the 1646 delegates at the MIC party elections under way now.

Najib could not have said it better, MIC is not just Sami Vellu, who was discarded by the people and lost his position in Sungei Siput, and if he continues to helm the party the people will throw out MIC completely in the coming elections.

Will Samy Vellu take the cue and terminate his association with MIC forthwith?

Selangor Menteri Besar claims Hari Raya cards send out by him have gone missing. Two gunny sacks of the cards were found at a security guard base in Bandar Tun Razak.

Pos Malaysia Berhad acting chief operating office BAHAMAN KAMARUZZMAN has acted his part well by claiming the non-deliverance was not sabotage as the cards had been sorted out and sent to the respective addresses.

Bahaman joins the long list of politicians and civil servants who vomit rot without a clue as to what their reply conveys. The cards have not reached the destination, unless of course, Bahaman wants us to think the security guards manning the security guard base are obliging and would ensure the cards will reach the destination eventually.

Think again Bahaman. The Bernama  report follows:

Two Postmen Investigated Over Missing Hari Raya Cards

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 11 (Bernama) — Two postmen are being investigated over missing hari raya greeting cards sent by Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.
Pos Malaysia Berhad acting chief operating officer Bahaman Kamaruzzaman said two gunny sacks of the cards were recovered at a security guard beat base in Bandar Tun Razak on Monday.
"There is definitely no element of sabotage. The cards had been sorted out and sent to respective addresses," he said at a media briefing here Friday.
Bahaman said hari raya greeting cards must be sent by Monday to ensure that they reach the destination before Aidilfitri.
He attributed the drop in hari raya greeting cards from 7.2 million last year to 6.6 million up to today to the economic slowdown and the preference for e-mail and short messaging service (SMS).
