Malaysia Today: Your source of independent news

This makes my stomach churn. Imagine spending RM 60,769 a day. A family with a monthly income of RM 1500, the average income earner, can only afford to spend RM 50. Talking about tightening belts and all. This is blatant abuse of power, especially when both of them were not in office.

The other day I was in the wet market, your 1 Kg of ikan bawal the black variety caused me Rm 18. Both these esteemed gentlemen have enough dough in their savings, to last one or two generations. They must be asked to pay, for travelling in such high class accommodation.

Dewan Rakyat: RM790,000 spent on jets
THE government spent RM792,325.20 for the use of executive jets by Prime
Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and his deputy Datuk Seri Najib Razak between Feb 24 and March 7.

That means during the election campaigning period, both ‘caretaker’ MP and DPM have abused our money for BN’s campaign trips all over the country. They spent RM60,769 per day. Can this be used as a solid evidence for abuse of power?
The opposition should ask the detailed itinerary and purpose on every trip during this period.
Pak Lah is now in Kuwait to attend the fourth World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF). This WIEF organiser (affiliated to ASLI) is based in Malaysia, web site here. Tun Musa Hitam is the chairman. Never heard of it until today, but all these connections make me smell rats.

  1. With all the price increase, how come nobody / rich politicians wants to take a price/ salary cut in order to benefit the average income earner? Imagine having to spent that much on traveling? If it is channeled back to society, everyone will benefit.

You smell rat? I smell rotten eggs. We all are getting rotten deals.

  2. Hi RBY
