Is Ahmad Fairuz about to sue Lingam for the slander and fabrication. It will never happen as he knows that it is better to let sleeping dogs lie, rather open up another can of dirty worms. Nice try Sir.

A former chief justice, who has been implicated in an alleged judicial corruption scandal, said today that the video at the centre of the inquiry was a “fabrication” and a slander.
A royal commission is investigating the secretly filmed video which showed high-profile lawyer VK Lingam purportedly speaking to Ahmad Fairuz Sheikh Abdul Halim, who at the time held the nation’s number-three legal position.

Eusoff is chairman of Alcatel’s Malaysian unit

PARIS-based Alcatel has named Tun Mohd Eusoff Chin as the chairman of its Malaysian subsidiary, Alcatel Network Systems (M) Sdn Bhd. Alcatel managing director in Malaysia, Datuk Yusof Ampuan Kecil, said the combination of Eusoff’s leadership ability and extensive government service will be an asset to the company.

Eusoff was the Chief Justice of Malaysia for six years until his retirement in 2000.

Eusoff, in a statement released in Kuala Lumpur, said since retiring from government service, “I have been looking for an opportunity to further contribute to our country’s development.

“In accepting this offer from Alcatel, I have found that opportunity, given the vital role that technology will play in Malaysia’s future,” he added.

  3. When Anwar Ibrahim was denied the opportunity to testify in the RCI, he reveals the 3rd Video segment to keep alive the goings on in the judiciary. But what is more interesting is the testimony of Ahmad Fairuz on Day 10. He claimed the conversation in the earlier Clip linking his name was “slander” but did not bother to take any action to clear his name. He read the expose news repeatedly from Malaysiakini and watch the clip and the next day drafted letters to the 3 VIPs (PM, DPM & Nazri) in the Executive “explaining his position” with the CONFIDENCE that “no indications that could link him to the video clip”
And the Lingam man continued his lies saying that his brother turned against him for failing to give him a “bungalow, a Merc & lots of money” and his stunning accusations against Robert Lazar to discredit him. More details, pics
